Oooh! Scary!

So, as many of you may know, I am NOT a real big fan of Halloween. I think countless years of teaching overexcited/ overtired/ oversugared youths kinda killed it for me. So, I really pretty much ignored it for Everett, since also, he's one. But it turns out that Rocio, Everett's daytime pal and mainly companion, is into it! And she took him to a party and dressed him up as a little Pagliacci! I mean, can you say "freaking cutie!!!?"

Here I think he looks like a series regular on Telemundo.

10/10/07 -- The Big Man Hits the Big 0-1!

Remember back in the day when I used to brag about my scones? Well, obvi, this kid's better than any baked goods!

It's hard to believe that just one year ago, he was little more than an adorable blob, and yet our lives were in total chaos trying to cope with his royal cuteness. Remember his first major mother-inflicted injury? Good times, good times.

Now he's one year old, and shredding! Check his ultra-laid-back eating style! He's really accomplished a lot this year. He can crawl at the speed of sound, say "Ma-ma," open door-knobs, eat pinto beans, and stand up without holding on to stuff! And, he has three-and-a-half teeth! Not to brag, but he's obviously totally awesome. We totally love him.
